We have programs that involve word games, trivia, puzzles and new learning. We even have a tablet for our clients to use for brain games.

L’Chaim also has fun physical games such as bowling, hockey and bocce ball, daily chair fitness, balloon badminton, dancing, mini-putt, hoop shots, bean bag toss, Wii games, and fishing derby.

Social

L’Chaim provides an atmosphere and programs that encourage and nuture friendships. We join others in the community for barbeques, concerts, and lectures.

Inter-generational programs provide regular visits from pre-schoolers as well as teenagers.

Programs include: Laugh Out Loud, multi-generational activities, bus trips locally, YouTube videos, sing-a-long, programs with JCC seniors, baking, storytelling, concerts in care, gardening, and library reading. A recent program is the Java Music Club, focused on peer support – participants helping participants.
